Wild Horse, Wild Ride
If you were one of those kids who had horse posters covering your bedroom walls, you’re going to love this film. Co-directors Alex Dawson and Greg Gricus make their documentary feature debut with Wild Horse, Wild Ride, a passionate story about wild mustangs and the people who love them. Every year, Fort Worth, Texas hosts the Extreme Mustang Makeover Challenge where 100 trainers dare to train 100 wild mustangs in 100 days for auction to the general public. The film follows six characters, from gentle horse-whispering brothers in New Hampshire to a wild, single mom cowgirl in Arizona, as they take up the challenge to gain the trust of these wild and noble creatures. In their quest, the trainers and horses begin to form strong bonds, discovering both have obstinate yet deeply sensitive characters. Get ready for an exhilarating, emotional and heartfelt ride.
