Outspoken. Outstanding. These two words have become synonymous with Hot Docs and our cutting-edge documentaries. Each year we present over 150 films from Canada and around the globe, inspiring new perspectives and critical debate on the key issues of our time.
Our programs for youth share the transformative power of film with both young audiences and filmmakers. This year, our Docs for Schools program will reach 250 high schools and 50,000 youth across Ontario. And our Doc It! showcase will highlight films created by youth wanting to share their own true stories.
With our loyal supporters, we’ve built a community of avid doc fans, emerging and established filmmakers, and the next generation of film buffs.
Please make a donation of $50, $200 or whatever you can afford today. As a thank you we’ll keep you updated with our donor e-newsletter, and a copy of the souvenir program guide at the 2010 festival. Donors of $500 or more will receive a special package that includes an invitation to our Hot Docs press conference and a complimentary festival pass.
