International Co-Production Day
Taking place on the first Monday of the Festival, International Co-Production Day features informative panels and networking opportunities with Hot Docs’ Official Delegations. The ultimate goal of this day-long gathering of Canadian and international producers is to spark and facilitate new co-production opportunities among attending delegates.
At the 2013 Festival, Hot Docs hosted official delegations from China, Germany, Japan, Nigeria, the Nordic Region, Poland, South Africa and the USA. Consisting of established producers and broadcasters working in social, cultural and political documentary genres, the delegations will be featured at International Co-Production Day, in addition to partaking in professional development sessions, market events and services, and networking opportunities at the Hot Docs Conference and Market.
International Co-Production Day is open to all Hot Docs Industry pass holders.
International Co-Production Day Producer-to-Producer Meetings
In 2013, Hot Docs introduced International Co-Production Day producer-to-producer meetings allowing delegates to meet one-on-one with potential producing partners from attending international delegations.
International Co-Production Day is generously sponsored by the Ontario Media Development Corporation and C21.
