Join us as we celebrate the launch of Hot Docs 2015 with our opening night festivities in support of Docs For Schools!

The night kicks off with a VIP cocktail reception at the stunning Bloor Hot Docs Cinema, followed by the opening night screening. The celebration continues at the Royal Ontario Museum’s exquisite Samuel Hall Currelly Gallery with cocktails, an array of delicious cuisine, dancing and the celebration of what’s been called “Canada’s national art form.”

Enjoy the premiere screening of Tig at the Bloor Hot Docs Cinema, including an exclusive Q&A with the filmmaker and comedian Tig Notaro.

In 2012, comedian Tig Notaro took to the stage and opened her act with “Good evening, I have cancer.” A testament to her defiant spirit and incredible humour in the face of adversity, Tig follows the year after her groundbreaking set.

Continue your conversations about this year’s opening night film in one of Toronto’s most beautiful landmarks. As the celebration continues, guests will enjoy cocktails, an amazing array of delicious cuisine, and dancing as we kick off Hot Docs 2015.

Individual tickets provide access to the cocktail reception, a ticket to the opening night screening and a ticket to the opening night party.

A tax receipt for $100 will be issued for all ticket purchases.
