Inocente
39 minutes | United States | (Subtitled) English Spanish | International Premiere | Rating: 14A
From the award-winning directors of War/Dance comes their newest film, Inocente, a deeply moving and inspiring documentary about a 15-year old girl named Inocente who’s growing up homeless, as an undocumented immigrant, on the streets of San Diego. With a difficult past, an abusive father and an alcoholic mother, Inocente has been moved between shelters to short-term housing to the streets for over nine years of her life. Despite her hardships, she’s found extraordinary power in her creativity and art. The story of Inocente will leave audiences moved by the transformative powers that art can have on an individual.
