In 150 seconds Pete Czerwinski can eat 20 sausages. He is also capable of eating 46 latkes in eight minutes. You have to see it to believe it (which is likely why Pete is a YouTube sensation). Furious Pete’s record-breaking feats in competitive eating are all the more fascinating, considering that just a few short years ago, he was hospitalized with anorexia. Weighing only 120 pounds and pushing his heart to its limits, Pete was on the verge of death. The Story of Furious Pete takes you inside the emerging sport of competitive eating, but is more fully the story of an individual attempting to take control of his life. Using bodybuilding as a source of strength, Pete began to rebuild his life. Now he uses his celebrity and unique gastronomic skills to bring inspiration to those with eating disorders and raise funds for charity. - Alex Rogalski
