93 minutes | Sweden  | (Subtitled) Swedish  | Canadian Premiere | Rating: 14A

This beautifully shot fly-on-the-wall documentary is about two Swedish sisters in their 70s and their 12 cows. While Inger married and had a family of her own, Britt stayed at Sibbalt, the family dairy farm. Now widowed, Inger wants to spend time with her grandchildren, while Britt remains committed to her precious cows. Unfortunately Britt can’t run the farm alone as an improperly healed injury has left her severely stooped. But Inger isn’t interested in the constant feeding, milking and mucking that go with caring for the cows. Without Inger to help it appears Britt will lose her cows, but when government agents start poking around it’s Inger who steps in to protect the farm and the life to which Britt is so attached. A wonderful documentary about sisters, tenacity and compromise.
