The Doc Shop at Hot Docs
“I want to thank you for including my film in the Doc Shop…we were contacted by a sales agent and have made our first sale with many others pending. It wouldn’t have happened without DOC SHOP! Thank you for being so supportive to filmmakers.”
- Natalie Picoe, filmmaker
Running concurrently with the Hot Docs festival and conference, The Doc Shop is a fully digital video library offering users on-demand access to 1500+ documentaries at any one of the 40 on-site computer terminals. During the 2011 Festival there were 8000+ views of over 900 films in a ten-day period.
The Doc Shop is accessible to industry delegates holding a Hot Docs Forum Pass or a Networking and Market Pass, with priority access provided to buyers, commissioning editors, acquisition executives, distributors, sales agents and programmers. Access to The Doc Shop’s computer terminals are protected by username and password, ensuring that only registered delegates can view films.
