“Astonishing” Doc CALVET at February’s Doc Soup in Toronto
February’s Doc Soup will screen the Toronto premiere of CALVET, an unforgettable story about a dark and violent man turned successful artist, whose quest for redemption finds him in a desperate search for the son he abandoned years ago. Called “an emotional roller coaster” by Daily Telegraph UK and “astonishing… the perfect documentary subject” by The Guardian, CALVET will screen on Wednesday, February 8, at 6:30 pm and 9:15 pm at the TIFF Bell Lightbox, with filmmaker Dominic Allan in attendance.
