Hot Docs Ted Rogers Fund Awards $85,000 to Five Canadian Doc Projects

Hot Docs is pleased to announce that five 2021 documentary projects will receive $85,000 CDN total in funding from the Hot Docs Ted Rogers Fund. Chosen from 34 applicants, three of the five projects are from Ontario, one is from Quebec, and one is from British Columbia. Established in 2016 with a gift from the Rogers Foundation, the $1-million fund provides financial support to Canadian documentary filmmakers.

Eligible projects were considered by the selection committee, which included Ina Fichman (Producer, Intuitive Pictures Inc.), Ed Barreveld (Producer, Storyline Entertainment), Hot Docs (Julian Carrington, Distribution Manager & Industry Funds Programmer).
