Saturday, April 29
5:00 PM: Screening of City of Ghosts
7:15 PM: Dinner at Dish Cooking Studio (587 College Street)

Following a screening of City of Ghosts, unpack this thought-provoking film with an evening of community, conversation, food and hope. Join us at the table for an intimate dinner with director, Matthew Heineman, as well as inspirational women from Newcomer Kitchen, a nonprofit organization that supports newly-arrived Syrian refugee women.

Mocktail: Tamarind/apricot juice with mint garnish
Appetizers: Fatayer Muhammara, an open-faced flatbreads with red pepper paste, walnuts and pomegranate glaze; Fatayer Jibneh, traditional Syrian cheese and herb turnovers
Main: Maqloubeh, a special event ‘layered’ dish of eggplant, chicken and rice topped with fried ground beef and pinenuts. A vegetarian version will also be served.
Dessert: Namoura, a moist, buttery semolina cake soaked in orange and rose syrup; S’Fouf, a unique cake studded with black sesame seeds, coconut and spiced with turmeric and anise; Mint Tea

8:00 PM: Screening of Becoming Bond

Your mission: 007 martinis; full briefing upon arrival. Join us for a pre-film reception at the stunning new cocktail lounge, Attico, and show us why you’re Bond, James Bond.
