Celebrate Earth Day with Hot Docs and the Ontario Science Centre!

Inspire climate action in your young ones with a special screening of The Lorax. Featuring the voices of Taylor Swift and Zac Efron, 12-year-old Ted lives in Thneedville, where the trees are artificial and the residents buy oxygen by the bottle. To find out what happened to the Truffula trees, Ted ventures outside of town where the Once-ler recounts the tale of the once thriving forest. Based on the classic children’s book by Dr. Seuss that inspired generations to speak for the trees and value the well-being of their environment, this fun-filled musical adaptation is fit for the whole family.

Arrive early to join special guests from the Ontario Science Centre for an interactive activity about animals in their natural habitats!

Animal Sleuths: Where Do I Live?
Does a deer live in the arctic? How about a fox? What is the slick layer of fur on a beaver for? Can you spot all the animals hidden in the forest? Learn about different habitats around the world and the animals that live in them. Determine why an animal’s fur is thick or thin, short or long. And put your sleuthing skills to the test as you try to find all the animals hidden in their homes.

Tickets: $15 ($7.50 for 12 and under) | FREE for members! Under 25? Get your FREE Bronze membership
