In her directorial debut, Kaniehtiio Horn delivers a message about Kanien'kehá:ka food sovereignty in a tense revenge thriller laced with dark comedy. Horn stars as Ziggy, a Toronto-based bike courier and burgeoning influencer who has just landed a new client: Nature’s Oath, a seed and fertilizer company. When her cousin calls her back to the reserve to house-sit for her aunt, he also warns her to be wary of Nature's Oath. When a shadowy figure begins to follow her, Ziggy becomes embroiled in a fight to preserve the history of her people amid corporate interests.

The screening will be followed by a pre-recorded Q&A with director Kaniehtiio Horn.
