This third party event is organized by the Toronto Public Library Workers Union. The content of this screening/event is the sole responsibility of the organizer.

As cities face a growing crisis of homelessness, addiction, and social isolation, public libraries and their staff have become unexpected lifelines. This short documentary offers an intimate look at Toronto Public Library workers on the front lines and the vulnerable communities who rely on them most. Through revealing conversations, the film exposes the cracks in our system, the people who fall through them, and the workers who are stepping up to fill them in.

Join the Toronto Public Library Workers Union for a special event on June 25, featuring a screening of the short, followed by a panel conversation and reception.
